1983-84 Steve Baker Maine Mariners Game-Worn Jersey
NOBR
Steve Baker was drafted 44th overall in the 1977 NHL Amateur Draft and went on to debut with the team in 1979-80. He lasted in the big league until the 1982-83 season. In his four seasons of National Hockey League play, he played in 57 games and compiled a 20-20-11 record with 3 shutouts, a 0.872% save average, and a 3.70 GAA.
This jersey was worn by him in his final season of professional hockey while with the AHL affiliate of the New Jersey Devils (just switched affiliations from Philadelphia for the 1983-84 seasons). He played 13 games that year, some of which he wore this jersey for. It is complete with team repairs, puck marks, bleeding orange, as well as an intact fight strap. A letter of auhenticity from the Meigray Group more than makes up for the
lack of a nameplate!
